She won the Division 1 Féminine player of the year award twice till now. Gaëtane made her international debut as a member of the France women’s national football in a 2–0 victory over China on 28 February 2007. She scored her first hat trick in a 12–0 victory against Estonia in 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualification on 28 October 2009.
