Born in Frederiksberg, Denmark, Laudrup represented Real Madrid in 76 matches and scored 15 goals. His ability to play with the ball even in tightest areas while surrounded by opposing team members is what distinguished from other players of that era. His skills helped in giving a La Liga title to the club. His work with the ball at the final moments of the game is still captivating to watch.

The legendary sweeper has played more number of matched than most of his contemporaries. Representing Real Madrid, he played in a whopping 710 matches and scored 40 goals. Also, he is one of the longest running player hat the club has ever seen, playing for 18 years, from 1983 to 2001. Some of his achievements include eight La Liga titles, five Supercopa de Espana, two UEFA Champions Leagues, two Copa del Rey, etc.

Next up at number eight is Argentine forward player Jorge Valdano. His tryst with Real Madrid helped the club to win two La Liga titles, one Copa de La Liga, and two UEFA Cups. And just so you know, he was one of the winning members of the 1986 football world cup. He was the one who drove Real Madrid to a glorious win when he scored two goals in the 1986 final of UEFA Cup. A year before that, in the 1985 final of UEFA Cup, he scored one goal. From the 120 matches that he played for the club, the 6’2” star scored 56 goals.
