Pakistani batsman Younis Khan, the player of the match in the opening test against Australia has described his eagerness to play in the World Cup 2015 although the PCB selectors is not considering him for the ODI series against Australia. This star player who has hit back to back centuries in the previous test uttered that the selectors should put faith in him and he is ready to perform in the ODIs and upcoming WC.

On Geo Super channel Younis told that age and position of a player should not be taken into account while selecting teams. If a player is in form and has proved his match fitness, he should be selected in One Day Internationals. Afterall it is about playing the right combination for a game or match.
Younis strongly said that he would fight for grabbing the spot in the ODIs and will not give up the hope of playing in WC 2015. He will continue his good form in the second Test against Australia and New Zealand who will be arriving in UAE this November.The rest is upto the selectors, he added.
The senior batsman smacked at the selectors and the board after being dropped for the upcoming ODI series against Australia and criticized them for showing disrespect to seniors like him. He also wanted to pull out his name from the Test side but escaped disciplinary action from the PCB due to his seniority.
