On Geo Super channel Younis told that age and position of a player should not be taken into account while selecting teams. If a player is in form and has proved his match fitness, he should be selected in One Day Internationals. Afterall it is about playing the right combination for a game or match.

He also wanted to pull out his name from the Test side but escaped disciplinary action from the PCB due to his seniority.
