The International Champions Cup is a series of friendly soccer tournaments. Of these tournaments, the International Champions Cup is in its third run of the series in 2015, and already, it has become hugely popular. The first to be played separately in the US, China and Australia, the Australian edition of this tournament featuring three matches are scheduled to be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on the 18th, 21st and 24th of July. Real Madrid from Spain, Manchester City from England and Roma from Italy are to be featured in this championship. Of the three teams, Real Madrid was the first to announce its association with the tournament, while the other two teams confirmed their involvement later.

The Chinese edition of the International Champions Cup 2015 will feature the teams Inter Milan from Italy, Milan, also from Italy, and Real Madrid from Spain. This edition, with a total of three matches, will be held in Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre of Shenzhen, Tianhe Stadium of Guangzhou and Shanghai Stadium of Shanghai in China.

The US edition, however, will be the most elaborate of the three, with a total of ten teams being featured. These teams are Chelsea and Manchester United from England, Paris Saint-Germain from France, Fiorentina from Italy, América from Mexico, LA Galaxy, New York Red Bulls and San Jose Earthquakes from the United States, Benfica from Portugal and Barcelona from Spain.Of these teams, defending champion Manchester United were the first to confirm their involvement with the tournament. The US edition will not be played in the US alone, but in Mexico, Canada, Italy and England, as well. The matches of this edition are going to be held in StubHub Center, Avaya Stadium, Rose Bowl and Levi’s Stadium in California, CenturyLink Field in Washington, BMO Field in Ontario, Red Bull Arena on New Jersey, Rentschler Field in Connecticut, Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina, FedEx Field in Maryland, Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, Soldier Field in Illinois, Artemio Franchi in Florence and Stamford Bridge in London.
