Neymar Top 10 Goals

On Friday, Brazil faced Colombia in the quarterfinals of the World Cup, with Brazil emerging as the victor. However, it had to face a heavy loss in the form of Neymar. In the 86th minute of the game, Colombia’s Juan Zuniga’s knee thundered into his back and that was enough to end his evening, probably even the rest of his World Cup since his doctors have reported that he has broken a vertebrae in his back.

On the bright side, Neymar will be leaving with a whole lot of success this World Cup season that not many footballers can boast about. In his home country, Neymar has become the poster boy for the World Cup. He netted his team’s first goal in the tournament and has another three goals in the group stage to his name, which has helped Brazil move to the top of the Group A standings. It was also Neymar who scored the 100th goal of the 2014 Brazil World Cup and till his last match, he was tied for second in World Cup goals with four goals to his name, only behind Colombia’s James Rodriguez with six goals.

To commemorate all that he has done for his national team and club, here is a video showing Neymar’s top goals before he moved to Barcelona:
