Cricket’s most prized tournament is back this year. The 11th ICC Cricket world cup will be held in Australia and New Zealand. Every Cricketing Nation of the world is preparing for this prestigious tournament and working hard to gain the ultimate glory. Australia is leading the stats in case of number of titles won i.e. 4. Then comes in line is India and The West Indies who have won the supreme title twice whereas, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have won the title only once. For a cricketer its a dream come true to be a part of the country’s world cup squad and if that team wins the cup his name remains remembered for a long time. If we check out the squads of teams this year they all are quite strong and every squad has an ability to win the title for its country. Apart from the players selected there are several players not likely to play World Cup 2015. The important names are Saeed Ajmal, Sunil Naraine, Mohammed Hafeez (as a bowler), Fawad Alam, Ryan Haris, Jesse Ryder, Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Malik, Kevin Pieterson, Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Yuvraj Singh, Umar Gull, J Neesham, Ryan McLaren.
These all players had been in good form in domestic stages or at international level but sadly somehow were not selected by their country’s selection committee. Of all these players Saeed Ajmal and Sunil Naraine would be dearly missed this time since they are the top class bowlers of world cricket. Saeed Ajmal and Sunil Naraine both are facing bowling action suspensions by ICC. Failing to submit their corrected actions within 15 degree arm flex both these bowlers will have to wait another 4 years for the next tournament.

Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard
Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard are also important names who will miss out the world stage tournament based on fitness issues both these players are an integral part of the West Indian Squad and their absence makes West Indian look an average side. West Indies would now have to rerly upon Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels heavily in their batting line up if they plan to reach at least quarter final stage.
