Saeed Ajmal born 14 October 1977 in Faisalabad, Punjab, is a Pakistani cricketer.At domestic level in Pakistan he has represented Faisalabad, He is a right-arm off-spin bowler who bats right handed. With his effective doosra and other varieties, superb control over all his variations – the off-spinner, the doosra and the subtle changes in speed and flight. he is also considered as the best spinner in modern world cricket. Saeed Ajmal made a relatively late entry into international cricket, at the age of 30, but is doing his best to make up for lost time, quickly moving up to be regarded among the best spinners in the game today.
Ajmal made his One Day International debut for Pakistan in July 2008 and a year later played his first Test. In 2009.
he was reported for having a suspect bowling action, but after being cleared he played a crucial role in Pakistan’s drive to the 2009 World Twenty20 title.

Saed Ajmal is The quickest Pakistani to take 100 test wickets. Saeed Ajmal also holds the record for taking maximum wickets(71) in Twenty20 International cricket. (now surpassed by another pakistani bowler Umer Gul by taking 74 wickets)

The PCB protested Ajmal’s absence from last year’s International Cricket Council world player awards, but made up for it somewhat by judging him the best bowler in tests, one-day internationals and Twenty20s.
Ajmal also received a special prize for the best bowler of 2012 from pakistan cricket board.
