Suhaib Maqsood Profile and Career Records
Sohaib Maqsood is a Pakistani International Cricket player, Right Arm Middle Order Batsmen and decent off spinner as well.
first-class debut : Multan Against Lahore Region in 2004.
T20I debut : Zimbabwe v Pakistan at Harare, Aug 23, 2013 Score Card
ODI debut : Pakistan v South Africa at Abu Dhabi, Nov 8, 2013 Score Card
Sohaib plays in Domestic Season for Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA).
He made his ODI debut under shirt#.92 with Pakistan against South Africa on 8 November 2013. His performance in his first ODI match was well praised by everyone as he scored 56 runs off 54 balls.
That debut inning was far more impressive than Umar Akmal’s as it was against a better bowling attack. He ain’t a slogger as well. He is tall but cleverly crouches before the ball is delivered as he tries to get on the top of the bounce. Also, his balance is good at the crease hence why he is able to play on both sides of the wicket, unlike Akmal.
It has been quite a long time that Pakistan are struggling with number three position in batting line in all three formats. The team needs a specialist one-down batsman because openers tend to fail to give a decent start.
He is the savior to the batting problems in ODI as he displays positive intent. He ain’t afraid to take on the cross bat shots which you can get many runs off but all our players (Yousuf,YK) even struggle and get out when playing these shots as they lose their shape.
the tall fellow has all the talent to represent pakistan in future. Need to Give Him Chances at Consistent Basis.
