10. Danilo Petrucci
At number 10 in Top 10 Bike Racers is Danilo Petrucci, Italian motorcycle racer who competes for Pramac Racing team. He began his road racing career when he joined CBR600 cup where he emerged as the rookie of the year. Since then he competed in various Superstock championship all around the world and also won the Italian Superstock 1000 Championship before switching to MotoGP where he is yet to make a mark. His performance last season was his best yet, finishing 10th with 113 points.
9. Pol Espargaro
At number 9 in Top 10 Bike Racers is Pol Espargaro, Spanish motorcycle racer competing for Yamaha Tech 3. He was the 2013 Moto2 World Champion after which he came to the premier class and had a commendable debut season finishing 6th. Pol won the Suzuka 8 Hours 2015 award. He was the youngest racer in history to score a point in a GP when he finished 13th in Catalunya GP at the age of just 15 years and 8 days.
8. Cal Crutchlow
At number 8 in Top 10 Bike Racers is Cal Crutchlow, English motorcycle racer competing for LCR Honda team. He was a superbike racer initially becoming the British Supersport champion, British Superbike race winner and the 2009 Supersport World Champion. He joined MotoGP in 2011 and competed in the premier class in 2013 and was named “Rookie of the year” having finished 5th with 188 points.
7. Andrea Dovizioso
At number 7 in Top 10 Bike Racers is Andrea Dovizioso, Italian motorcycle racer competing for Ducati Team. He was 2005 125cc World Champion. Andrea has been a consistent rider in his career, getting fourth position in debut season and since then having finished fourth and fifth multiple times. He achieved a 3rd place podium finish in Malaysian MotoGP. With 162 points, he finished 7th last season.
6. Bradley Smith
At number 6 in Top 10 Bike Racers is Bradley Smith, English motorcycle racer who competes for Yamaha Tech 3. He enjoyed a successful 125cc career with three wins, twenty podium finishes and 9 pole finishes in his five seasons there before moving up the rung. Known for racing at his best when he is leading in a race, this 25 year old is yet to reach his peak. He has won Suzuka 8 Hours award in 2015. He finished 6th overall with 181 points in 2015.
5. Andrea Iannone
At number 5 in Top 10 Bike Racers is Andrea Iannone, Italian motorcycle racer who competes in MotoGP for Ducati Team. Andrea might not have the silverware like others on this list and he is yet to win a Championship, this young racer has impressed everyone with his 5th finish last season 188 points. His critics have said he has improved a lot last season and is more matured and consistent now and that his first MotoGP win isn’t too far away.
4. Dani Pedrosa
At number 4 in Top 10 Bike Racers is Dani Pedrosa, Spanish professional motorcycle racer who rides for Repsol Honda Team. He has been one of the underachievers in the in premier class considering his initial promise. Dani was 2003 125cc World Champion and 250cc World Champion in 2004 and 2005. He is the youngest 250cc World Champion in history. Apart from that he is also the second youngest winner in premier class (Chinese Grand Prix 2006).
3. Marc Marquez
At number 3 is Marc Marquez, Spanish professional motorcycle racer who races for Repsol Honda Team. He is one of the most promising racers to have emerged in a long time and this is evident from the fact that in his 3 years in premier class he won championship twice (2013 and 2014) and finished third once (2015). He is the first rider since Kenny Roberts to win the title in his debut year and thus became the youngest champion in history (aged 20).

This Italian Professional Motorcycle racer from Yamaha team is the most successful motorcycle racer of all times with nine Grand Prix World Championships under his belt of which 7 are in premier class. He is 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009 MotoGP world Champion, 2001 550cc World Champion and 1997 125cc World Champion. With 112 wins yet, he is second on the list of most overall wins. He finished second last season.

At number 1 in Top 10 Bike Racers is Jorge Lorenzo. Jorge is a professional Spanish motorcycle racer riding for Yamaha team; he has been the most celebrated racer in recent times. He has had a prolific career having been crowned World Champion multiple times, he is 2006 and 2007 250cc World Champion, and the 2010, 2012 and 2015 MotoGP world Champion. Apart from three titles finishes, he has also been runner-up in the premier class on three occasions.
