9. Chuang Chih-Yuan

Currently ranked 9th in the world by IITF, he came from a family with a table tennis background with his dad being a national doubles champion and his mother a member of Taiwan national team. He has achieved his highest career ranking of World Number 3 back in 2003 when he won the Brazil Open. He has won IITF Would Tour titles thrice in 2003 Brazil Open, 2011 Chile Open and 2012 Spanish Open. He was also winner of IITF World Tour Grand Finals in 2002.

8. Marcos Freitas

He was also the semifinalist in 2013 and won the tournament in 2014 in singles.
