There are many celebrity death hoaxes by social media, but this one was very believable and hard to ignore .The main reason of this death hoax may have been the rage of his fans after the publication of his drug and alcohol abuse story. And the main reason of death in these reports said the same. Primarily the report said that this former athlete was dead because of gambling, cocaine abuse which might have sounded true to all of the people because there was already enough evidence that supported this fact. The liquor addiction made the story more believable and this is the main reason why this fake news went viral.

Yes. This soccer legend was also the target of death hoaxes by social media .not by any social media website but by CNN. In March 2014, the morning show featured a report that this former Brazilian sport legend was a dead.
