Some of the key members of Indian squad which include their major bowler Ishant Sharma has been ruled out of this year world cup that would take place in Australia and New Zealand. Ishant Sharma has been a backbone of Indian bowling and his height and pace could have helped India a lot in the bowling department. They have replaced Mohit Chohan in place for Ishant Sharma who is not much experienced. Similarly there also have been some injuries for Bhuveneshwar Kumar the master swing bowler but he was cleared but he did not feature in the two warm up games before the first match against Pakistan.
Speaking of Injuries in World Cup 2015, It was also heard that South African wonder boy AB De Villears also been facing some fitness issues. De Villears has been a key component in the South African Batting team and his repute was further raised when he scored the fastest ODI century against West Indies recently. He also was rested for the warm up games ahead of the tournament. There also have been issues with the fitness of Dale Steyn as well who also is extremely important for South Africa.

Pakistan is an unpredictable team and they are aiming at repeating the history of 1992 world cup that was held in Australia and New Zealand in which they emerged as victorious. Like in 1992 Pakistan lost Waqar Younis to injury, against this team is struck with injuries. Pakistan’s bowling attack’s main exponent Saeed Ajmal was banned by ICC due to an illegal bowling action. So the complete responsibility was on the fast bowlers to take up the challenge. In the mean time Mohammed Hafeez who also was a good spinner was also banned due to an illegal bowling action. The experience fast bowlers like Umar Gull and Sohail Tanvir are both injured and cannot make up to the final squad for the world cup. Sohail Khan who has played just 3 One Day Internationals and Rahat Ali were added to replace Junaid Khan and Sohail Tanvir. Ehsan Adil another youngster was added to the squad to replace Umar Gull. Nasir Jamshed was sent to replace Mohammed Hafeez who was banned from bowling plus got an injured calf during the preparatory series against New Zealand in New Zealand.
