Some of the key members of Indian squad which include their major bowler Ishant Sharma has been ruled out of this year world cup that would take place in Australia and New Zealand. Ishant Sharma has been a backbone of Indian bowling and his height and pace could have helped India a lot in the bowling department. They have replaced Mohit Chohan in place for Ishant Sharma who is not much experienced. Similarly there also have been some injuries for Bhuveneshwar Kumar the master swing bowler but he was cleared but he did not feature in the two warm up games before the first match against Pakistan.

De Villears has been a key component in the South African Batting team and his repute was further raised when he scored the fastest ODI century against West Indies recently. Sohail Khan who has played just 3 One Day Internationals and Rahat Ali were added to replace Junaid Khan and Sohail Tanvir. Ehsan Adil another youngster was added to the squad to replace Umar Gull. Nasir Jamshed was sent to replace Mohammed Hafeez who was banned from bowling plus got an injured calf during the preparatory series against New Zealand in New Zealand.
