Henrikh Mkhitaryan has just confirmed his move to Arsenal from Manchester United, and has revealed that it is like a dream coming true, which is mainly because of one player, i.e. Thierry Henry. The Armenian player has recently been a part of an exchange deal between Arsenal and Manchester United, in which Alexis Sanchez has joined MUFC while Mkhi has gone the other way. Mkhitaryan has revealed that Arsenal has always been a dream team for him, and the one player who has made Arsenal look like such a great club to join is none other than Thierry Henry. Mkhitaryan is proud of the fact he will be playing in the same jersey as Thierry Henry. Back in 2009, he has said the same thing in an interview with the UEFA, mentioning that he wanted to play with Arsenal. Now that he is at that team, he has no qualms in reiterating his former statement.

Now that Mkhitaryan is a Gunners player, the comment by the Armenian is likely to make the fans of Arsenal very happy. He has said, while speaking to Arsenal.com, that he is extremely happy that the deal could be completed and that he is now a new member of the English club, because he has always dreamt of being part of Arsenal. He added that now that he is at the team, he is going to try and do his best for the club and create new history.

Mkhitaryan then went on and explained the reason behind Arsenal being the dream club for him, as he singled out the club legend Thierry Henry. He said that he had always been in love with the way Arsenal used to play, under the management of Arsene Wenger, who had a number of young players to work with. He then added that he has always loved Thierry Henry’s game, and the way he played, and mentioned that maybe he was main reason for him to support Arsenal.
