English Footballer Kieran Trippier currently plays as a right-back for the Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur besides his participation for the England national team. He started his football journey with the youth academy system of Manchester City. He became a regular at the reserve team of City but failed to make it to the first team. Trippier then joined the Championship club Barnsley in February 2010 followed by his move to another EFL club Burnley in July 2011. Kieran Trippier Early Career

Trippier got a chance to join Manchester United during his childhood days. But he opted for Manchester City youth academy because firstly, it was his local club, and secondly, he had some friends practising in the Manchester City Academy. He joined the academy at the age of just 9 and made a steady progression. He then signed his first professional contract with the club in 2007. The following season, Trippier soon became a part of the reserve team of City. He also represented the club’s squad that achieved the FA Youth Cup in 2008.

After his spectacular performance for the youth squad of Manchester City, Trippier earned his promotion to practice with the first team in 2009. Trippier scored his first goal for Tottenham in a match against Watford from a great assist by Dele Alli on 6th February 2016. He then made his UEFA Champions League debut in a group-stage match against CSKA Moscow on 27th September 2016. He grew up in Summerseat in Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester along with his three brothers Chris, Curtis and Kelvin. As an interesting fact, Kieran’s brother Kelvin is also a professional footballer. He completed his education at Woodhey High School.
