The ending months of 2017 and the new beginning of 2018 seem quite good for the Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo. He achieved his fifth Ballon d’Or and also achieved the Globe Soccer award besides being named as the Best European athlete of 2017. And now Real Madrid is set to offer him an improvised deal to make him stay in the club when the situation is not quite well between the club president and Cristiano. According to the new report, Los Blancos is set to offer a new £600,000-a-week revised deal to Cristiano Ronaldo to match the weekly pays of his great rivals Lionel Messi and Neymar. One of the main reasons for the ongoing tension between the club and the star is due to the mismatch in weekly wage between Cristiano and Messi, and now the club is taking initiative to sort it out.

Besides offering him an increased weekly-pay, Real Madrid is now also looking for some great strikers to sharpen their attacks. And Tottenham star Harry Kane is in the top place of their wish list according to a recent report published in Corriere Dello Sport. After spending a marvelous season last year with several trophies such as the La Liga title and the Champions League, Real Madrid side is not performing at par now where half of the La Liga season 2017-18 is already over. Real Madrid is currently 14 points short of Barcelona in La Liga table with one game in hand. The side will pretty soon face Paris Saint-Germain in the knock-out stages of the Champions League in February 2018.

But besides the under-performance of the Real Madrid squad, Cristiano Ronaldo himself is not having a great run this season as he scored mare 4 goals till now in La Liga. He scored 9 more in the Champions League, 1 in Supercup and twice in the FIFA Club World Cup in the ongoing football season. But his La Liga goal scoring saga was hampered after he was handed a five-match suspension at the start of the season for pushing the referee during Real Madrid’s clash with Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup. But the fans are now hopeful that the 32-year-old will pretty soon match his form of the previous season and he will be happy after Real signed the revised deal to Cristiano Ronaldo.

Amidst all the controversy and the tension between him and the club, Cristiano Ronaldo recently posted an image of him with all his personal trophies having a beautiful landscape of his home island of Madeira in the background. He also stated “When I played in the streets of Madeira and dreamed of reaching the top of the football I could not imagine that one day I would take a picture like this” and added “I dedicate this moment above all to my family, my friends, my team-mates, the coaches with whom I have always learned and so many others who work in club and selection structures.” He also expressed his thankfulness toward the fans while saying “Finally, a special thanks to my fans.
