Both the teams missed some pretty good chances to score in the first half of this La Liga game between Malaga and Atletico Madrid. Malaga tried their best to score but the match remained goalless in the first half. Antoine Griezmann then scored the goal for Atletico in the 61st minute with a brilliant right footed shot. Malaga failed to score any equalizer afterward and the match ended in favor of Atletico Madrid.

Malaga was looking quite shaky in the match against Valencia and they conceded the first goal from Santi Mina in the 17th minute. Simone Zaza scored the second goal for Valencia in the 55th minute followed by another in the 60th minute. His hat-trick goal came from a brilliant strike in the 63rd minute. The final goal of Valencia was then scored by Rodrigo in the 86th minute of this La Liga match.

Aritz Aduriz scored a brilliant penalty for Athletic Bilbao just 4 minutes after the kickoff which was equalized for Malaga by Diego Rolan in the 35th minute. Bilbao got their second and third goal from Iñaki Williams in the 51st minute and then again in the 70th minute. Paul Baysse scored the second goal for Malaga in the 81st minute and shortly after, Diego Rolan scored the third equalizer for the team in the 84th minute.
