Malaga played their first La Liga season 2017-18 match against SD Eibar. The match started quite aggressively and both the teams made several fouls in the first half of the game. Eibar made several attempts in the second half but their only goal came from a brilliant header by Charles from a great cross by José Ángel in the 57th minute. Malaga, on the other hand, failed to score any equalizer thus ending the match in favor of Eibar with 1-0 score.

Malaga 0-1 Girona [26.08.2017 – La Liga]

Malaga tried to create pressure on Girona since the starting of the match and conceded several fouls before the 20 minute of the first half. Pedro Alcalá scored the first and the only goal for Girona by a brilliant left footed shot from a marvelous assist by Christian Stuani. Malaga tried hard but failed to score any equalizer in the second half thus ending the match in favor of Girona with 1-0 score.

Jonathan Viera scored the first goal for Las Palmas with a brilliant right footed shot in the 45th minute of the match. Shortly after, Diego González scored the equalizer for Malaga with a header from a cross by Recio. Jonathan Calleri then scored the second goal for Las Palmas with a right footed shot in the 69th minute. The last goal of Las Palmas came from a great right footed shot by Loïc Remy in the 88th minute of the match and it ended with 3-1 score in favor of Las Palmas.

Malaga 0-1 Atletico Madrid [16.09.2017 – La Liga]

Both the teams missed some pretty good chances to score in the first half of this La Liga game between Malaga and Atletico Madrid. Malaga tried their best to score but the match remained goalless in the first half. Antoine Griezmann then scored the goal for Atletico in the 61st minute with a brilliant right footed shot. Malaga failed to score any equalizer afterward and the match ended in favor of Atletico Madrid.

The final goal of Valencia was then scored by Rodrigo in the 86th minute of this La Liga match.
