German footballer Mario Gotze currently plays as an attacking midfielder for the Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund besides appearing regularly for the German national football team. He started his footballing journey with the youth academy of his native side SC Ronsberg in 1995, at a very early age of just 3. After spending three seasons of training there, he moved to FC Eintracht Hombruch in 1998. Again he stayed there for three seasons before finally joining the youth system of Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund in 2001, at the age of just 8. He signed a four-year contract with his former club Borussia Dortmund on 21st July 2016. He then made his second-stint debut for his boyhood club against RB Leipzig on 11th September 2016.
