English footballer Raheem Sterling currently plays as a midfielder for the England national football team besides appearing regularly for the Premier League club Manchester City. Born in Maverley district of Kingston, Sterling spent his early days in Jamaica. He then immigrated to London with his mother Nadine at the age of just five. Sterling completed his schooling from Copland School in Wembley, North West London. He was charged for a common assault on a woman on 20th May 2013 which was later dropped as the witnessed failed to appear during the trial. Sterling was again arrested for another assault on his former model girlfriend Shana Ann Rose Halliday just three months later on 8th August 2013. He was found not guilty after Shana unable to give proper evidence at Liverpool Magistrates Court on 20th September 2013. Sterling has one daughter after a brief relationship.
