Reportedly, Ronaldo has mentioned to his friends that he feels “betrayed” about the fact that he has not received a better offer along with the improved contract, even though he was promised otherwise, by Florentino Perez, the president of the club, after he helped Real win the second successive UEFA Champions League in 2016-17 season, along with the la Liga title. Sources close to the Real Madrid star have mentioned that Ronaldo is currently in a lot of confusion, as he feels that he has been tricked.

Manu Sainz further added that Ronaldo intends to leave the Spanish club in the upcoming summer, while Los Blancos is rumoured to be pursuing Paris Saint-Germain players Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, as the possible replacements. Neymar has reportedly requested for the exit of Ronaldo from Real Madrid, as one of the many conditions that he has put forward to join the team. Ronaldo’s most recent contract with Real Madrid was signed in November 2016, and it runs till 2021.

Despite his marvelous performances in the previous season, Ronaldo has not been able to do well in the current season so far. In fact, with only 16 goals, he has been compared to his form in 2005-06, when he secured 13 goals in the entire season for Manchester United. Whether this poor performance is a result of his disappointment with the team is a big question at the moment.

At the start of the season of 2017-18, there were some great rumours about Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid. This came up as a result of Ronaldo’s alleged disappointment with the team because of their lack of support when Ronaldo had to face a tax fraudulence case. However, Ronaldo was seen playing for the Spanish team, putting all rumours to rest. However, the rumours are back in the market again. It has also been said that his agent is in talks with PSG.
