It is clearly noticeable that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo now has a deteriorating relationship with the club president Florentino Perez as he recently declared his wish to lower his transfer price. The relationship between the Portuguese international and the president hit an all-time low as Cristiano is now “ready to fight” for a transfer from the Spanish superclub. Ronaldo recently signed a new deal with Los Blancos having a release clause of £887m (€1bn) in November 2016. But now Ronaldo asks Real Madrid to lower his selling price to €100m which would be a much more realistic price to buy a player like him. Right after the story came in media, the long-term suitors Manchester United and PSG are on high alert as they really want the maestro in their side.

With the relationship going downwards day by day, the Cristiano Ronaldo-Florentino Perez pair is not even having a talking term now according to the Daily Record. As per media report, the problem started with Cristiano Ronaldo demanding a better financial benefits which will make him earn as much as the other leading football protagonists. It is a fact that even after winning La Liga, Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup this year, Cristiano still earns quite less than Lionel Messi or Neymar and Ronaldo asks Real Madrid now to give him the benefit or lower the price. During the Ballon d’Or ceremony a few weeks back, Cristiano stated “I’m the best player in history, in the good moments and the bad ones,” and added “I respect everyone’s preferences, but I’ve never seen anyone better than me.”

The 32-year old also said “I have always thought that. No footballer can do the things I can. There’s no player more complete than me.” While talking about his ability Cristiano said “I play well with both feet, I’m quick, powerful, good with the head, I score goals, I make assists” and also added “There are guys who prefer Neymar or Messi. But I tell you: There’s no-one more complete than me.” While talking about his achievements he said “No-one has won as many individual trophies as me. And I’m not speaking just of the Ballon d’Or.” Cristiano Ronaldo while talking about his dedication said “That says something, doesn’t it? It’s not just a result of the work I do in the gym as some people think.”

He also expressed his thoughts of getting the success while saying “It’s the sum of many things. Legends like Floyd Mayweather and LeBron James don’t get to their perfect level by chance” and added “Many factors coincide. To be at the top and to stay there you have to have more talent than the others.” While talking about his possible transfer with the €100m price he expressed his wish to play in the Premier League again and said “I never had a problem in England… that’s why I would like to go back to England.”
