Henrikh Mkhitaryan – Manchester United

The Armenian midfielder has a total of 28 appearances for Manchester United of which 6 assists were done by him and 5 of them in this season. He endured a difficult start to life at Old Trafford following his £30million arrival from Borussia Dortmund last summer but has now emerged as a key component of Jose Mourinho’s rapidly improving side. In the process, Mkhitaryan became the first man since Ruel Fox back in 1994 to create five goals in the opening three games of a Premier League campaign.

Matt Ritchie – Newcastle United

This Midfielder has 3 assists to his name of the 5 appearances in this season. The number 11 is a worthy buy for Rafael Benitez as the Scottish winger creates innumerable chances for his team. So, he deserves this position.

David Silva – Manchester City

Since joining City from Valencia in the summer of 2010, the Spaniard has made over 300 appearances for Manchester City with more than 70 assists. This season, in the Premier League, he has already assisted 4 times out of the 5 appearances he made and is one of the most dependable left footed midfielders for City.

Kevin De Bruyne – Manchester City

The Belgian international has capped a total of 69 games for Manchester City of which he made 31 assists. He has also set a record for the number of goals created for Manchester City qualified for the Champions League. Kevin De Bruyne has finished the season with the most assists in the Premier League last season with a total of 18. This season also, he has already assisted 3 in his 5 appearances.

Sergio Aguero – Manchester City

Another Manchester City superstar and Argentine striker Aguero is on the list with 2 assists of his 5 appearances this season. He is also on the top goal scorers list presently for his 5 goals. He is one of all time EPL’s top scorers and assist maker for Manchester City.

Cesar Azpilicueta – Chelsea

The Spain international and Chelsea defender for 7 seasons has proved to be very dependable all the time. In this season he assisted a total 2 balls which were converted to goals. Also, Cesar Azpilicueta became the fourth outfield player in Premier League history to play every minute of a title-winning season (after Gary Pallister in 1992/93, John Terry in 2014/15 and Wes Morgan in 2015/16).

Roberto Firmino – Liverpool

This Brazilian international and Liverpool Forward Firmino has been the best player for the club last season for 12 goals and 5 assists. Even in this season, he has already scored 2 goals with 2 assists. Firmino is versatile and can play in a number of forward roles for the Merseyside club, yet many believe he is at his best playing through the middle and that is where Liverpool are more threatening.

Dominic Calver-Lewin Everton

The Premier League 2017/18 Everton season is young, but England U21 international Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been a revelation so far. In truth, it would not be out of order to say that “DCL” might be the top performer in the squad to date with 2 assists in 4 appearances so far.

Emre Can – Liverpool

The German international made 2 assists for the Reds so far in this season. The midfielder was bought by Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014 for 12 million Euros. The 22-year-old is yet to lose a match in his 12 appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season.

Christian Eriksen – Tottenham Hotspur

This Denmark international was the 2nd ranked player with the most assists last season, 15 to be exact. In this season also, he has already assisted 2 goals. He has now laid on 20 goals in all competition, surpassing PSG star Neymar’s total of 19. In this season also, he is again at the lookout for the tag of European Assist king.

Thierry Henry

James Milner

With 75 assists in EPL, He is on the number 9 position in this list. Milner’s talent in football, cricket, and long-distance running was noticed at a very young age. He represented his school in these sports and also played football for amateur teams from Rawdon and Horsforth. He voraciously supported Leeds United from a young age and was a season ticket owner at the club.

Teddy Sheringham

Sheringham played as a forward, although mostly as a second striker, in a 24-year professional career. Sheringham started his career at Millwall, where he scored 111 goals between 1983 and 1991. He is also the clubs’ second all-time leading scorer.  Apart from that, he has 76 assists.

David Beckham

Beckham is an English former professional footballer. He played for Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, and the England national squad for which he held the appearance record for an outfield player until 2016. David has 80 assists till date in EPL.

Steven Gerrard

He is an English professional football coach and a former footballer who serves as an academy coach stated at Liverpool. Steven spent the majority of his sporting career as a central midfielder for Liverpool and the England national team. He spent most of that time as club captain. With 92 assists, he still remains one of the top 10 English premier league most assists till date.

Dennis Bergkamp

He is a former Dutch professional footballer, who happens to be the assistant manager at Ajax. Originally a wide midfielder, Bergkamp was later moved to the main striker and then to the second striker. There he remained throughout his playing career. 94 assists are his top achievement till now.

Wayne Rooney

Rooney is an English professional footballer who captains both Manchester United and the England national team. He has played a major part of his career as a forward, and he has also been utilised in various midfield roles. He has had the total of 101 assists which places him at the 4 number of this list. Rooney, with his 198 goals till now, is also one of the all-time Premier League top scorers.

Frank Lampard

Lampard is an English former professional footballer and believe it or not, children’s writer. He is the all-time leading goalscorer for Chelsea, where he had played for a long 13 years, and he is considered by a number of journalists and football pundits to be one of the greatest midfielders of his generation.  Frank has had the total of 102 assists till date.

CescFàbregas

He is a Spanish professional footballer who plays a critical role as a central midfielder for English club Chelsea and the Spain national team. 107 assists are his best numbers till now and place him at number 2 in this list of English Premier League most assists.

Ryan Giggs

 

Giggs, the veteran and loved is a Welsh football coach and former player who happens to be the co-owner of Salford City. He played his entire professional career for Manchester United. At number 1 of English premier league most assists, we have Ryan Giggs with 162 assists.
