Spanish footballer Jose Callejon currently plays as a forward for the Italian Serie A club S.S.C Napoli besides his regular participation in the Spanish national team matches. Callejon started his footballing journey with his native football academy of Costa Tropical during his childhood. He then moved to the Real Madrid youth academy in 2002 and earned promotion through several age-levels. He achieved his place in the C team in 2006 at the age of 19. A season later, he made his professional debut for the Real Madrid B team in May 2007. He participated in 4 Segunda División matches that season and earned his permanent place in the B squad for the following season.
