There are hundreds of sports exist in the world. Cricket is one of the Most Popular sport among them. Cricket is basically a team game, where a team of 11 players fight for win. It is assumed that Cricket has started in 16th century. So this is the 5th century since people are enjoying this amazing game. There are three official format of this game. Test (5 days), One day match (50 overs), T-20 (20 overs).  Cricket has produced many great players with some astonishing records.

There are some special moments in the history of cricket that I am going to address here and I called them Cricket wonders. Truly these moments comes ones in a while and give the spectators cheer and joy. When teams fight to win, the show of strategies, skills, power, stamina and decision making are truly at its best. And there comes such breathtaking moments when audience hold their breath just like they do watching a suspense thriller movie, you don’t know what come next.  Here are 7 Cricket wonders. Read them and feel that moment.

7. Jim Laker(19 wickets in a test match)

At 7 of Cricket wonders, English off-spinner Jim Laker missed only one of 20 wickets, when he took 19 wickets for 90 runs against australia at Old Trafford in 1956. he took 10 wickets in first innings and 9 wickets in 2nd. Ten wickets in a Test innings has been repeated by Anil Kumble, did it 1999 against pakistan, but 19 in a match? 5. Rohit Sharma (264* Runs in ODI)

India’s Talented Opening Batsmen Rohit Sharma has the world Record for Highest individual Score in an ODI Innings. on November 2014 Rohit Sharma Smashed unbeaten 264 Runs against Sri Lanka, he Faced 173 Balls during his Historic ODI double Century. Rohit Sharma Brok Many Records During his 264 Innings including most sixes in an innings of ODI by a player. he smashed 16 sixes on that day.

4. Brain Lara (400* runs in an test innings)

At 4 of cricket wonders , Brian Lara is popularly nicknamed as “The Prince of Port of Spain” . He is widely acknowledged as one of the supreme batsman of his era, and one of the finest ever to have graced the game. He holds several cricketing records, including the record for the highest individual score in first-class cricket, with 501 not out. Lara also holds the record for the highest individual score in a test innings after scoring 400 not out against England at Antigua in 2004. He is the only batsman to have ever scored a hundred, a double century, a triple century, a quadruple century and a quintuple century in first class games over the course of a senior career.

3. Muralitharan (1334 International Wickets)

Muttiah Muralitharan undoubtedly one of the greatest bowler who ever played cricket. Muralitharan was Capable  to spin the ball even at glass due to his unique off spin action begins with an open-chested short run-up, and culminates with an extremely wristy release which had him mistaken for a leg-spinner early in his career by Allan Border. Sachin did his debut at the age of 16 against Pakistan and after that he never looked behind. Breaking all the records he is the most successful player of his generation. He is the world’s first batsman who scored double hundred in one day international match. Statistically he holds 64 world records in Cricket. These stats simply tell you how much talent and greatness this man holds. Cricket and the movies are two passions of Indian nation and according to a survey this man is the most popular among God, Sports and  film celebrities. After completing his 99th century it took a while to get his hundredth century. He played this fabulous innings against Bangladesh. After achieving the milestone he just looked at sky with tears in his eyes. That was the moment when everyone from every nation bows himself in his honor.  Till you are reading this post Sachin is playing his last match of the career. He will be no more playing after this but the greatness and honor this man brought in cricket has ever remembered. he is one of the Most Inspirational Athletes In Sports History.

1. Donald Bradman last test match

Donald Bradman was an Australian Cricketer. Fans know him as “The Don” of cricket game.  Sir Donald Bradman globally acknowledged as the greatest test batsman of all time. He holds the record of highest average of 99.94 which is statistically the greatest achievement by any sportsman in any major sports in the world. He made 29 centuries in 52 test matches and 117 centuries in 234 first class matches.  In his career in almost every match he played a wining knock. That is why he was often called “The Don” of the cricket game. In his last test match he just needed 7 runs to be the first sportsman in the history who had 100% average but unfortunately he was clean bowled at 0. The man who is known for centuries and winning knock in every game he played could not be able to make just 7 runs to get the perfect 100% average. Well I guess this statement is true “There is no body perfect in this world except the Lord who created this world”.
